Reminds me of that kick ass time lapse world map view of all the nuclear explosions from 1945.

I highly recommend picking up Swords and Soldiers HD. I bought it a month or so back shortly after it came out and had a blast playing it.

There are some really fun rts elements all mixed in a artistically crafted 2d environment.

Bought SMB. I fucking hate it. It seems like a decent platforming game though not quite as awesome as I had heard or was expecting. The first thing that really bothered me was the inability to customize keyboard controls. This really hinders play as the accuracy demanded by the game isn't possible ...

Way to let us down, shaft.

All points go to the quality of the special effects. Talk about a waste of $. DO NOT spend money on this. I didn't either and I still felt like I lost something. The acting was good but the story was so farfetched that it was downright horrid.

It's pretty good. The new special infected feel a lot more threatening. I think the spitter was added as a way to counter the teams that like to turtle up in a corner. Melee weapons are nice. I've read a lot of people complaining that they feel they're too powerful but they take up your pistol slot ...

I second this. I played through it for the first time a month or two ago with this mod installed and the graphics were really impressive. Just make sure you abuse that quicksave feature because it's really easy to die.
