The only game I bought was AvP for $5.

I might get Ghost Recon too, looking at reviews.

i was tempted by new vegas but decided to pass...i know that game will suck days if not weeks from my life. plus i still haven't played fallout 3 which i'd rather do first.

also, torchlight is a hella fun game if you like diablo-esque gameplay. highly recomended.

started up darksiders today. super happy about that purchase. the gameplay is good, but this game is super nostalgic for me. reminds me of a lot of those old fantasy movies--legend, labyrinth, wilo, etc. the voice acting is great too.

I thoroughly enjoyed Flatout Ultimate Carnage, but fuck you need high tolerance. lots of "fuck thats bullshit!" going on in races. yet its never bullshit, it was always avoidable :J

picked up monkey island pack. i've been wanting to check these out and at the current price there's no reason not to.

i bought flatout last year for the same price it is now. the game is good mindless fun when nothing else really seems to be drawing your attention. the one thing about the game that i don't really like is the art and audio direction. the music is horrid and the character design is straight out of an n64 game.

memph, second boss in darksiders as in the dude gaurding samael or sometime later? i've been playing the game on the medium difficulty and it seems to be that sweet spot of providing a challenge without making you restart from the same checkpoint 50 times (i'm looking at you, modern warfare chernobyl ferris wheel).

Yea the majority of the fights are pretty epic. My favorite is one where you beat the boss to death with a fucking railway car.

I highly recommend picking up Swords and Soldiers HD. I bought it a month or so back shortly after it came out and had a blast playing it.

There are some really fun rts elements all mixed in a artistically crafted 2d environment.

Bought Left4Dead 2 in the Steam store for €6.79. For that price, couldn't let it go :)
Who here has L4D2? Maybe we could add each other's Steam accounts as friends to play online together.

btw, L4D2 is €4.99 if you already own L4D.

edit:
I joined the q3w group on Steam.

edit2:
whoops, I hope my laptop can run this. Recommended specs are a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 duo. Got 2.1Ghz in here and some ATI Radeon thingymajig.

Dammit, L4D keeps bugging me with connection problems. In 40 minutes time, I've been able to play ONE online game that was already in progress. It just keeps bugging me about losing connections to the game, losing connections to steam, blah blah. Fuck this shit.
