Re: Cheap speakers frying on-board laptop sound?

tnf, the exact same thing happened to my brother's old Sony laptop. From what I remember, he was using rather large non-powered speakers through the line output and his soundcard burned out. He opened his laptop and it literally was burned.

The question is whether I ever liked her voice or music to begin with.

The answer is no.

Been running an arcade version for about six months or so. We just bought the Nyko Intercooler to help cool it off. It's noisy, but I'm sure it helps.

Re: So I finally tried out apple

Macs? Oh yeah, we had one of those at Officemax. I made a pretty drawing of a ladybug on it once using Photoshop, but that was mainly it. It had printing issues, networking issues, and internet issues. Could they be fixed? Sure, but nobody cared, and customers never required us to use it. I sometime...

Very happy for Nintendo.

Reducing the learning curve and complexity associated with having more buttons than you have fingers isn't a fad in my opinion.

Developers eventually will make better use of the controller.

Her and Nicole Richie are very entertaining in the TV show "The Simple Life"

BTW I clicked on this thread to see a release date and all I see is a link. I am very disappointed. In fact, I refuse to click it.

My neighborhood is full of druggies, and stolen cars routinely get dropped off in our parking lot. However no-one has ever touched my car. Blue-flashing LED alarms are uber-popular in my area, so I bought a clearanced $20 Bulldog alarm from Walmart and popped off the red led and stuck on a blue one....

I have no use for antivirus software, or adware detection software... I've been doing fine for so long without them it's pointless to start.

It may be stupid, but under no circumstances does using the internet mean you're infected with anything.

However anyone using IE6 or lower is another story.

Get a V3 like I've got. You can find them at Walmart for $80. They support USB drives, xD cards, and MP3 CDs - with sub-out, and an input jack on the front.

It's funny but I never knew how farsighted I was until about a year ago. People with clear vision can read roadsigns before I even see them. They can read a computer monitor from across the room!

Unfortunately I still don't have glasses.

A website was more than likely your culprit. Yes, do use Firefox exlusively. I use SP1 integrated XP install and don't do any updates.. really not necessary. I have better compatibility with older games in SP1. Antivirus... really, really not necessary unless you're a bit naive when it comes to down...
