That was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.
All these little things people say, or references people use all make sense now. Like 42 being the answer to everything, or "so long, and thanks for all the fish,", or Trillian's name. :icon26:
I've got to read some of the books. How many are there, anyway? Where should I start? Probably amazon.com, huh?
Edit: At least AFAIK, I've only read the first book, and that was a few years ago as well. I'll be getting this on DVD then. Tbh I'm not too bothered if it follows the plot/dialogue 100%, as long as it's a good movie, and a funny one too, I'm sold.
Man, I'm really looking forward to this movie. Read the books and it's just the best thing ever written Funniest at least.
Here is a list of the books, but the list isn't complete. There is also Zaphod Plays it Safe and The Salmon of Doubt. You should be able to get one book with the five listed on his site and Zaphod Plays it Safe all in one. AFAIK, The Salmon of Doubt isn't in a collection yet. And I haven't read it yet :/
