Just finished browning the meat, preparing the ingredients, and turned on the crock-pot. Wish I didn't have to wait so long to try this shit out but it looks like I'm gunna be eating it for a week.killer chili recipe:
2 lbs ground beef
1 beer - preferably a strong one - only put half in the chili, drink the other half
3 cans red kidney beans
4 jalapenos, sliced to about 1/4 to 3/8 inches thick
2 cans tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tbsp crushed red pepper
2 tbsp cumin
1 chopped white onion
1 packet generic chili powder
2 cloves crushed garlic (heat in microwave 10 seconds before peeling, much easier)
2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
put shredded cheddar cheese in the bottom of the bowl, chili on top, crush about 6-10 crackers into it, and stir thoroughly.
then get a kleenex and enjoy.
Hopefully it turns out ok. We only had Bud Light (im not 21 yet), I used 2 jalapenos instead of 4, and I accidently put 1 tbsp of black pepper in so I cut the red pepper back to 1 tbsp. Also wasn't sure whether I needed cumin seed or ground cumin since I've never used the stuff (boy does it have a strong odor!).
