I run Win7 and GTKRadiant 1.5
1.4 works fine
1.5 on the other hand doesn't. I get visual errors so I disable desktop composition and I get this error.

I'm mapping for JKA so I need to use 1.5 (because it has some elements 1.4 doesn't). Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
GTKRadiant 1.5 Runtime Error
Re: GTKRadiant 1.5 Runtime Error
Now 1.4 cant load my map because it says no worldspawn even though it is...and it loads fine in 1.5 when desktop composition isn't disabled. But I cant do much of anything with all of the visual bugs. So please, need help.
Re: GTKRadiant 1.5 Runtime Error
unfortunately, it's a Win7 thing.
if video card drivers, and Win7 SP1 doesn't fix it, then im not sure what will.
I suggest you install VirtualBox, then install Windows XP, and you'll be good to go.

BTW, i would like to know what things JKA has that 1.5 does that 1.4 doesn't do.

Re: GTKRadiant 1.5 Runtime Error
It's running fine right now weirdly...But Im not going to close it just in case it does it again. It seems to work randomly, I dont know if its a RAM thing or what. Even though I should have enough ram *shrug*
and 1.5 is better with error messages when compiling, rotating, moving vertices, and so on. But I do appreciate 1.4 for allowing more than a minimum or 7 sides for a sphere.
