What are the common textures?

Post by gooball :D »

Hey all. What do the common textures for GTKRadiant do? I know the simple ones (trigger, player clip, weapon clip, caulk, cushion, nodraw, nodraw nonsolid, botclip), but what do the rest do?

Thanks-

That's actually a really big subject in itself and I don't think anyone can explain all that in one post. Just explaining hint could take several tutorials and articles. Anything specific you want to know?

BTW, the manual can help with a lot of general questions:

Also, the shader manual will help you understand the common shaders on a more detailed level, you can actually look at the common.shader file and find out what everything does.
