Contact the Administrator to find out if you have access permissions. Seems that the list of servers for that workgroup isn't currently available.

You using XP home or XP pro? I seem to remember getting this message trying to get to XP home machines.
As ever, check your shares (and permissions, if you're running XP pro) on the target machine are set up right, and that that PC isn't running an over-precious firewall.

I'm running XP pro. It was fine before, but I had to unplug my router because it stopped responding. It's done this a few times before. I think I'm going to do a hard reboot on the router and see if that fixes it.

Stupid fucking router. Anyways a hard reboot fixed it. I really need a new router that has more control over the network.

actually, the Buffalo WHR-HP-AG108 is cheaper and Beter, and it runs DD-wrt no problem.

I was wondering the same thing. I'd be hesitant to say a product from a relatively unknown, small-time vendor is "Better" than something as mainstream and tested as Linksys' WRT54G model.

the weakness of and WRT is its wireless, The Buffalo uses the same chipset as the WRT's, More Ram, and more Flash. With a Diffrent Wireless chip giving way more range with less saturation resaulting in higher transfer rates with a larger client set.

and as i said, it runs DD-wrt, Check out the Discussion over at there forums.

I've seen the buffalo router being touted as a great router on the dd-wrt forums, more so than the linksys in some places.

I don't have any complaints with my linksys, been rock solid on wireless. :) I don't really use it for long ranges though.

i hope you don't consider it faster because of MIMO technology. and the speedboost is hit or miss.
