A tiny amount of the 100 TB GOP claim to have copied have been leaked.
If their aim is revenge for DRM, lulzsec, TPB, Goliath, etc., they won't stop leaking, imo. They would find excuses to go on and on until the most possible damage is done.
If they are disgruntled (ex)employees, they would probably want to see some heads rolling. Rumor had it, Pascall's chair was shaking. Again, they would find excuses to go on leaking until some execs are axxed.
And if his deity, the Child-Man was indeed the delinquent, his next step would probably be to stop Sony from pub'ing it On Demand, and later accusing them of making the movie accessable as torrent, which, ultimately, it will be anyway.

All of the involved parties are in a real mess now.
Obama should not have commented on the issue. Not even with one word.
It could have been a rather tiny affair compared to the scope it has grown to.
