Something will happen.
Doomsday will get pushed back due to some overseen math errors that were suddenly revealed when the Earth didn't implode on itself.

Anyone who uses the format of month/day/year should die anyway.xer0s wrote:12/21/12

I didn't ask and I don't want to know. Nothing good can come from a discussion.xer0s wrote:lol really? What is she expecting?

Young staff member at work is taking the day off
Will I see her again?
Will I see her again?
Re: Doomsday
It would be sorta ironic if someone who believes in this dies on the 21st because of some car accident or something.

Sharp sticks - it's what separates us from the animals
Re: Doomsday
Even though I am on the 6th floor perhaps I better find some joinery and fend them off in the fire escape.Don Carlos wrote:seremtan wrote:i was really looking forward to the Ape Calypso on Friday

Re: Doomsday
Wonderful idea Whiskey
Obviously the choice of wood used to fend off whoever might be coming after you is fully dependant on how much you think of them. For instance you wouldn't consider using English Oak on someone you hated nor use pine for someone you held in high regard.

Re: Doomsday
I gave the Sharp Stick some thought in the pub last week, while we had one of those tedious 'what would you do in case of a zombie apocalypse' discussions. The Sharp Stick seems like a multi applicable tool in any situation, i think i'd prefer a Sharp Stick over a samurai sword, which was suggested by my friend.
I was all like hell naw, display some adaptability, you gots to maintain a sword - no such thing with a Sharp Stick, you'd just get another one innit. And you don't really need to sharpen it with a knife or anything, you can just burn the tip in a campfire and grind the charcoaly end on some rocks, till it's proper sharp. And then i got all philosophical on his ass, by saying something incredibly clever about the end of the consumption culture and the general disposability of Sharp Sticks. Naturally he had no comeback and was forced to buy me a drink, so i won that one.

Like a boss - sticking it to the man
Re: Doomsday
I'm just hoping clever hoaxes get played, with a lot of fake fx, fooling people into actually believing the end is nigh, and them preemtively killing themselves, ridding the planet of some retards.
That's the most I can hope for.
