FarCry was great, except for the last level which sucked goat balls.

No.

The game still has many bugs. I'd recommend the 1.3 patch. Don't bother with the other patches...since they suck.

The only bug in the SP game that I think affects gameplay is that annoying "kill-a-guy-and-you-hear-his-weapon-firing-for-20-minutes" bug....in a stealthy situation it's distracting.

The big let down for me was fighting my way through 4 or 5 of those huge Trigens then walking into the small room and blasting the "bad guy". After having to empty several clips into the faces of the Trigens and then having to use only a quick burst from your AG-36 to kill "the bad guy" seemed anti-climactic.

hmmm... well, there is Operation flashpoint if you dont scream for graphics but instead enjoy some very good story's and war games.

But there really isent any other game like FC yet.. but in less than 3 weeks Boiling point:road to hell is out.. and im dying for that game, its a cross between Farcry's seamless world and S.T.A.L.K.E.R's rpg style.

It's the closest you can get.. and boy am i longing for it.

Last i heard was after they postponed it again(5th time) that they dident want to set a new date for release in order to not upset the waiting crowd.

If ya ask me... Q2 2006 and thats no sarcasm.

I meant to tell you in your other thread that your portfolio page looks pretty nice. You should have download links on the portfolio page, methinks.

Also...I've taken a run through redq3dm6...I didn't play with bots...just a walkthrough. Nice brushwork and texturing. Very nice.
