Q3tourney6_ctf 2

Post by Mercador »

While looking for the bfg fix, we tried the second map created by iD and we love it.

However, there's a visual glitch around the weapons, do you know why? Is there a setting missing on our Q3?

Seriously, what kind of question is that?
Is it possible to be a bit more specific perhaps, just a tad bit?

Mercador, I think you meant to reply to your other thread instead of creating a new one.

How about closing this one, and posting in your original thread, so people don't get confused? :)

When you repost in that thread, it might be a good idea to explain what sort of "visual glitch" you're seeing, or, better yet, add a screenshot.

Yeah sorry, English isn't my primary language.

In short, there's a gray halo around the weapons waiting on the floor on this map :

Like we were missing a texture of some sort.

I'll post a screenshot.

Yes, you're either missing a texture/shader or you have a conflict with another shader of the same name.

Try removing (move them to a temporary directory somewhere) all custom PK3's and other custom content out of your Q3 /baseq3 directory and see if you still have the same problem.

Ok thanks. I have a lot of custom pk3, I hope I won't remove native ones.

IIRC the native ones are the pakX.pk3 (0-8 afaik), maybe the pro-q3tourney7.pk3 and if you installed Radiant the mapmedia.pk3 and common-spog.pk3

The rest should be custom content.
