Yeah your right, there isn't one person on earth that has money but decides to drive a decent car and live in a ok part of town. Not one I'm sure...shaft wrote:from the pics ive seen its not what you would call a 'rich' persons home. Plus your suburban is like 10years old. Rich people dont drive 10yr old suburbans.

Be thankful you've had to pay more. When it starts really going up, you guys are going to be a lot better off than we are because your lifestyle isn't as dependent on it as ours.Don Carlos wrote:When your paying $8.90 a gallon, come back and start crying people. The UK have it the worst.
Besides, I'm not crying about how I'm going to have to pay more for gas -- I hardly ever buy gas anyway -- I'm talking about worldwide shortages in the future.
I agree with R00k. I'd be happy to see people have to pay more for fuel for their car because it might lead to a reduction in consuption. The big problem is more that oil is used inefficiently for MANY things more miportant than moving a car.
Heating costs, industry production, even airplane ticket prices will rise. We need to find alternatives across the board. Automobile gas prices can fuck off.
