Be thankful you've had to pay more. When it starts really going up, you guys are going to be a lot better off than we are because your lifestyle isn't as dependent on it as ours.

Besides, I'm not crying about how I'm going to have to pay more for gas -- I hardly ever buy gas anyway -- I'm talking about worldwide shortages in the future.

I agree with R00k. I'd be happy to see people have to pay more for fuel for their car because it might lead to a reduction in consuption. The big problem is more that oil is used inefficiently for MANY things more miportant than moving a car.
Heating costs, industry production, even airplane ticket prices will rise. We need to find alternatives across the board. Automobile gas prices can fuck off.
