.. so guess it won't work for me? I've got a PAL Xbox, but it's chipped so I'm not sure. Also, I was thinking more in terms of getting a single device which could handle both consoles. I'm not overly picky about visual quality and whatnot. I've been doing a bit of digging around and came up with this baby which seems as it'll do the trick. Any thoughts on it?

It will work with a modded xbox and the 'enigma video switcher'. Every Xbox should have a modchip anyway so it's a good chance to get one

I got the Avermedia TV Box 7 today and it works a treat. Unfortunately, it only has one set of inputs, so I'll have to unplug/plug wires when switching between the two consoles.

ps2 won't output VGA. totally and utterly ridiculous i know, since the Dreamcast was most fantastic with its VGA output. quite a few "converters" out there, but they look like crap :/

Well, using this thing the PS2 looks about as good as it does on a TV (which is more than good enough for me). Remember, you're talking to the guy who has trouble telling a DivX movie apart from a DVD.

You might want to invest in a Spyder.

Three Samsung Syncmaster 900IFTs. Surprisingly, out of the box they were pretty well calibrated, but a few years later I noticed some gamma problems.

Borrowed a Spyder from work and I liked it so much I bought one.

it's only a few hundred dollars. you don't get the results from a Spyder as you would an ISF trained calibrator. sorry.

Damn, I find it mildly annoying if the colors are a little off on each monitor, but ATM it's not bad at all they are almost exact. nice display REP!

Some guy on ebay was using the picture desktop to sell his DELL soundbars (AS500) in multiple auctions. I got in touch with them because thier auctions were also using text that I typed as well. LOL they even left in edited by Giraffe Hunter when they pasted it in the auction.
