I aquired Brisk his services to do me some banners, a favicon and some other icons.

I think he owns at his work.
Thought I should share this, Im quite happy with it tbh.

the favicon is very distinguishing me thinks :icon14:

edit: there's 6 banners, just hit F5 :)

It fits the overall design of the site :p
He also made me the text, which is a Japanese translation of cinemasiafreaks :)

The banners are ok in principle but imho the don't fit the name of the site: cinemasiafreaks. Where's the freak? For me they have more the appeal of insurance ads or so...

Heh, thanks for the feedback. You can't please everybody of course, but its interesting to read other peoples opinions.

I'm working on a website at the momment to display some recent work of mine, though since i've only just started using dreamweaver, its a little lacking.

http://gmc.bradfordcollege.ac.uk/studen ... folio.html

Thats some recent work I have done for the record label I work for, amongst other things.

edit: i realise the popups aren't functioning in IE properly either.. it was designed on a mac, and popup handling in the mac IE is slightly different.

just a quick question about the katakana, wouldnt it make more sense to do:

"shi-ne-ma-shi-a..." or "shi-ne-ma-zha" instead of "shi-ne-ma-zhi-a"?

i think there are two common pronunciations of asia. one is "a-shi-a" or "a-zha". i would go for the first as it flows better when combined with cinema. not meaning to be too picky or anything, just curious as to what you think/thought about that :)

edit: after thinking about it, maybe i really was being too picky. i guess whatever works.

Well, I personally don't speak Japanese (in any of its hybrids), but I have a friend who does technical translation writing for Lotus and IBM, and I left it in her capable hands ;)
