They retail here brand new for $142,000. Not that you can get a "new" one now but you get the point. I worked out a lease payment... Somewhere around $3200 per month... Toxic will have one in no time!

great thread. i have nothing further to add other than i agree that mountain roads are a blast. there's a crapton around here. oh and that while fast cars are fun it all comes down to the driver. i've taken an evo8 and rx8 and technically those are "better" cars than mine...though i still think the rx8 is rather laughable. in theory i love the rotary but from my understanding they go through a lot of oil. they sound kinda neat too.

Damn you Stu, i couldent convince a friend of mine to let me take his EVO out for a spin.... :)

The sounds of the turbo spooling, and then the BOV/Bypass valve is intoxicating to me... as for the RX8, i really, REALLY wish they would fix the Fucking apex seals on those things, i know 5 people persionally that have Blown there Wankle's because of those Apex seals.. and they are Still NA! No turbo's at all!

btw, juggs: i agree with you in turns man, That is why i got my 240SX.. but sadly the car has let me down wayy wayyyy to much for me to put money into it.. to bad so sad, i am looking into a BEEMER next.. Prob a Late E36 or early E46 :)

also how much did u sell it for and what year/kms was it. for fucks sakes, a real E30 M3 is kinda a rare gem, its not a car someone should sell.

no, not in the least. was getting into my first house at the time and couldn't afford to keep it AND my daily driver. i regret it sometimes, but you have to do what you have to do.

it was a Diamond Black '90.

Speaking of VTEC, the newest iteration is called the i-VTEC (I read that it stands for intelligent VTEC). The K20A i-VTEC is a pretty nice engine, but it seems to run real hot :icon32: The K20A is a 2-liter, but I believe there's now a 2.4 liter version as well as a 1.8 liter version.

Found this article on the K20A: http://asia.vtec.net/article/k20a/

i am not calling the cars "Bimmers", it just sounds retarded... Beemer is the only way to go.
