Would you...
.. go down in salary if you had the opportunity to work with something that you really loved?
The job i got now are good payment, but i dislike it and its though for my body..heavy lifts, climbing and alot of injuries at work.
The other job is laid back and fun and something i really would like to work with.
The salary differances is around $320 a month.
edit* wrong ammount, it was ment to be a 3 not a 2.. fixed.

of course...
edit: $320/month...well, you have to ask yourself second to being happy whether or not you can retain your lifestyle with a cut like that.

If you've got no family commitments do it, you'll get free accomodation while on the ship i presume?riddla wrote:I'm pretty close to saying fuckit all and taking a job playing music on cruise ships. Would be a 40% pay cut at least, but I'd be happy, seeing the world, and no real responsibilities other than showing up to rehearsals and gigs.

On the flipside of the 40% pay cut, I would no longer pay rent, bills, food or utilities so I'd probably come out better.
