Also,
Dark Moose Lager or Crazy Ludwig ale
Cheesy hot artichoke dip
Bread
(I humored your beer request, but normally I'd suggest any cheese with any red wine. :icon14: )
had some pheasant pate with the cheese... pretty tasty stuff. cheese and crackers is a nice easy dinner

Chester Cheetah is the smoothest cat in the zoo, but when Mean Eugene steals his motor scooter…Chester loses his cool...

I'm not a fan of cheese...but during the winter there's no better beer than Samuel Adam's Triple Bock.
It's a thick beer...basically no head and the coloring is almost black. It's best if you pour it in a wine glass because it is relatively syrupy. It's 17.5% alcohol, which is the strongest beer I've had.
Sip on it during cold weather and it'll warm you right up without giving you the drunk to go with it like hard alcohol.

the winter welcome is great. probably one of the 3 best beers i've ever had (including when i lived in bavaria). i'm also enjoying their "pure lager".
as for cheese, i had some murcia al vino recently that i really enjoyed. no clue what beer would pair well with it though. generally eat my cheese with wine, if anything.
