Look at the photo I posted, it is less than 1/8" larger than the Dell 170Xxx series. The monitor on the left is a 1704FPv the right is the 2001FPw. only a difference of 26 pixels larger on the vertical.

I was being sarcastic guys.

I thought it was obvious that a widescreen is going to be shorter than a 4:3 monitor with the same diagonal measurement.

Isn't that obvious to everybody? Does anyone really expect a 20-inch widescreen to be just as tall as a regular 20-inch monitor?

I prefer the widescreen now that I've been using it for a while, it's quite nice to have 2 pages open sidy by side

Ah fuck I knew I should have waited longer before buying my Sony. The monitor is fan-fucking-tastic and I like the XBRITE screen look...but damn, I could have had this Dell for a hundred less.

my crt is turning magenta and flickering like a bitch. even w/o the coupon $434 isn't bad at all.

how often do these little bargains pop up? i remember the last time it came around was a while ago...

It all depends on their stock, usually once a month, but last month they released 1000, then it expired and a week later they re-released another 1000, and 2 days later released another 4000. I'm guessing they have some 3rd world kids working hard on these so it should be soon.

I should have waited a month I got mine for 396 ($420 shipped)
