So either the al qaeda has this super weather weapon and is trying to take out the US fuel sources one at a time or God is pissed off and coming back to finish off the people that escaped Louisiana into Texas.
Gas expected to reach $4.00 a gallon, the hurricane has not even come to land and the gas prices have already gone up in anticipation of it.
Another 100,000+ idiots will sit in their houses and ignore the warnings to evacuate.
I'm not going ennywhar. Actually I'm too far inland to get much more than some storms. Hotels, RV parks, etc. are already booked up solid here from evacuees already. Not to mention the 500 or so refugees from Louisiana already here.
edit: wonder if I can add the word 'already' a few more times in that post.

I say let them stay, if they don't want to evacuate it's prolly for the best of humanity anyway, it's just sad that the entire country is going to pay for their bad choices
Yeah, all the Christian Right people that are always saying these kinds of things are God punishing the evildoers, what do they make of this? They were saying that New Orleans was wicked so it got punished, now Texas? What's their excuse for that one?
I heard this morning that several hundred oil rigs had already been evacuated and nine refineries had been shit down. It must be very tiring for oil company executives to keep jizzing in their pants all the time.
This storm's going to be one mean bitch, but at least the areas likely to be hit aren't giant soup bowls.
Yea, at any rate, at least it's not going to be as bad for them as it was for New Orleans. Texas is just one big, flat chunk of dirt - no cities filling up with water or anything.
Hell, they should move all marathons to Texas, at least they'd be able to see where they're supposed to finish.
