Ordered to destroy Atta documents

Post by R00k »

Well. A Pentagon employee is going to testify that he destroyed all documents relating to Mohammed Atta, under orders.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050916/ap_ ... _hijackers

The 9/11 Commission's stance is still that they don't believe the Able Danger group existed - even though the Pentagon has already admitted to it. The Able Danger guy even testified before the 9/11 Commission, saying they had identified Atta as a member of al quaeda 2 years before 9/11. The Comission didn't investigate the reports any further, and omitted it from the final report, saying they weren't credible.

Still don't think the Commission was a politically-driven whitewash created by the Bush administration? :smirk:

The fact that it's in the mainstream press today is not old. And that's the point.

I keep asking myself the same thing.

It's incredible to me how they coddle the docile, bleating masses here into acceptance, dismissal or just plan amnesia of everything they do.

Sure the Able Danger team and Atta are old news.

But the fact that a Congressman is using a Pentagon employee as a witness is news.

Don't fuck with me, wifekeepsmyloins. I stay on top of this shit, while you're just searching around for anybody with dropped scraps. The empty can rattles the most, as they say.

That's right, but you sure can ban a hermit house-husband who does nothing but post articles that border the line of conspiracy theories from questionable information sites on an internet message board all day.

how about thousands of hours of transcripts of his recorded conversations

also there may be info from when he was trained by the CIA (if he was one of the hijackers to which this applies)

2.5 TB sounds over the top

even if the audio portions of the files were uncompressed wav or whatever, that would be 10 megabytes a minute.

1 terabyte of uncompressed audio would be 100,000 minutes, which is about 70 days of nonstop audio.

Moreover, they seemed to be referring to documents and emails, not audiovisual media.
