Bush isn't the problem, it's the cabinet behind him. Surely that's quite obvious?

Heh. We're going to be seeing a lot of media hysteria over even the smallest hurricane over the next couple of years I think.

But he brought them in and gave them his ear. They've never had a president's confidence before because they were all considered crazy by previous administrations.

Or some of the people behind bush brought them it.

My point is he's the public face and I don't think there's *any* power to his position beyond that, in reality.

well, its not looking too good as today's polls show that most people don't think Bush or the Federal Government bears much of the responsibility for the failures in the response...

Actually, we're the problem. Soulless whores (whether Democrat, Republican or whatever) will remain in the ascendant until we wake the fuck up. I have no idea what it will actually take for this to happen.

I read somewhere that polls were reading 2/3 of the population thought the federal govt was at fault - leading up to it as well as the response.

Can't remember where I read it though.

Well, it's not common knowledge yet that Iraq is a complete disaster to our country.

Heck, some people still don't even know it's a disaster for the Iraqis. :smirk:
