What did you eat for breakfast today?
I think I have sleep apnia. I need about 12 hours of sleep before I feel refreshed, and even then I don't feel perky. With 8-9 hours of sleep I need a nap if I'm not 100% focused on something.tnf wrote:disgusting.bitWISE wrote:Nothing. I woke up at it was lunch time. Typically I have some cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats this month).
people are not designed to sleep in that late.
I don't think that is what sleep apnea is.bitWISE wrote:I think I have sleep apnia. I need about 12 hours of sleep before I feel refreshed, and even then I don't feel perky. I've think that folks who sleep too much will feel more groggy than folks who sleep a bit too little. 8-9 hours is ideal I believe - although the official number from the medical community seems to change frequently.

Raw, you seem like a nice guy, so I'll try not to hold this against you.raw wrote:Actually, from personal experience I've learned that I've been more awake and lively with no crash just by cutting out sugars, caffeine, and junk. I eat fairly healthy and I'm so lively it's hard for me to even crash when I go to bed at 11pm when I'm up at 6:30 am bright eyed, and bushy tailed.
I know, but I overslept. And because of that I needed to work through lunch, which has made my noon meal...you guessed it...Pop Tarts!!! But I took a daily multivitamin and some extra C.....tnf wrote:blech.ScooterG wrote:Embarassing but true: Little Debbie Zebra Cakes

You can eat a banana and drink a pre-canned protein or meal replacement shake in the same amount of time that you can eat a little debbie or pop tart.ScooterG wrote:I know, but I overslept. Being behind or late is no reason for poor diet.
If nothign else, throw some peanut butter (all natural) on some wheat bread and go.

Actually it simply requires the right point of time and the right mindset at that point of time. It has a bit to do with luck.raw wrote:I quit smoking cigarettes 6 months ago, cold turkey. People ask me "how do you do it?" and I simply tell them..."I'm not a weak-minded simpleton like you". *shrug*
I also quit 6 months ago and I still crave cigarettes. It's true, no one ever really quits. That's why I hope they find a cure for cancer soon so I can start smoking again.

are you the type of person that has no time to toast your poptarts, so you nuke them?ScooterG wrote:I know, but I overslept.
