I am already at my fifth beer but I don't go to work for

80 proof vodka jello shots
3 Budweisers, ~8 Coors Lights
800mg Ibuprofen (can't find my fucking vicodin >:E)

I wasn't even hammered either...I ended up just falling asleep at 2am.

Vicodin for what? That's would be a pretty dumb thing to take on top of the liver bashing you gave yourself.

As I read that, it makes me really, really glad I stopped drinking. Too many bad hangover memories.

If you're taking painkillers for a buzz with alcohol (stupid, but I've done it in my younger lunatic partying phase), vicodin will do it. But you should never take ibuprofen or aspirin or tylenol while you're drinking. If you think you're going to have a headache, you can take a couple tylenol with a couple glasses of water before you go to bed, but I wouldn't make a habit out of it.

Tylenol is hard on the liver. So is alcohol. Hence the idea that you should avoid doubling up.

Yea, that was my reason for saying to avoid it unless you have to.

But I didn't realize vicoden was based on the same ingredient. I thought it was an opiate or something.

Vicodin is a combination of hydrocodone (opiate) and acetaminophen.

There are varying formulations - for example, if you look at a bottle of vicodin it might say

Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5/500

In that case, you have 5 mg of hydrocodone (vicodin) and 500 mg of tylenol.

The strongest tablet hydrocodone is a 10 mg strength. You can get varying levels of acetaminophen

I think the most acetaminophen you can get is 650 mg.

I don't know that any of the major manufacturer's make tablets without any acetaminophen - in fact I am sure of it because my doc looked it years ago when trying to figure out how to balance pain management for my neck with minimal impact on my kidneys.

Oxycodone (percocet, oxycontin, roxicodone, etc.) is available with no acetaminophen in it.

Yeah, half a vicodin or another strong painkiller will increase the drunkeness by tenfold. I don't typically do them but some reason I felt compelled the other night.

I already learned my lesson with weed and alcohol. I hot boxed most of a dime bag out in my car with some friends and then proceeded to drink an entire bottle of Private Stock (80 proof spiced rum). I could barely speak the next day, I felt like George Bush...
