More importantly, if he's the sort of craven, dishonest fuck who'd write that sort of software, he's not exactly credible.
Actualy he was told to do it and if memory serves, he thought it was for the prevention of vote altercation and he left once he found out what was going on.
If this is true i would have to lean more towards " credible "

It doesn't. Clinton was impeached, but the Senate failed to act further. Once articles of impeachment are given to the Senate the have to determine the punishment, anything from censure to removal from office. What baffles me is that Bush has done so much worse than lie about getting blown, yet millions of people still think he's the second coming.
isn't that the strain of puritanism in american culture coming to the fore again? that peculiar combination of excessive prudery and genocidal tendencies (i'm thinking of native americans here) in america's history would result quite naturally in a moral culture where having your pecker moistened by an intern is mortal sin while slaughtering arabs (the new native americans, since like the natives, the arabs live on top of something white america wants) on the strength of a lie is just normal

I don't see it taking over or anything, but it's made a resurgence, and the groups that espouse that sort of shit are certainly making a lot of fucking noise. Given that our head idiot is one of them, they think they have free reign to wage war on common sense and liberty under the guise of "defending their faith".
These people really think that everyone that doesn't agree with them is actively fighting to stomp their beliefs into the ground. Now granted, there are a lot of middle-of-the-road folks that don't want to see sex OR violence in the media or movies. But I tend to hear the most squawking from those that freak out over Janet Jackson's nearly nude breast than those that don't want their kids e-murdering virtual hookers.
Those folks scare me.
