oh wow this thing is handy I can even see my neighbor throwing his empty redneck beer bottles over the fence again while his numb fuck dog howls at the breeze changing direction.

Why would anyone use this instead of GoogleEarth?

Um. It's the same system but encapsulated in a web page.

Why use webmail rather than outlook? Duh, when you're on the move.

It's not the same system at all.

It uses scaled down versions of the images GoogleEarth uses, and they're all stamped with an annoying watermark. Also, it loads incredibly slowly, and the map/road feature is the slowest on the planet.

GoogleEarth's roads are nearly instantaneous. The only difference between the two are that GoogleMaps now shows the direction of traffic... A feature only useful if there is such a thing as a one way interstate highway.

huh? :dork:

and rep, it's because i'm not willing to install googleEarth, because i probably can't run it, i don't have heaps of free space, and it's way too much time. occasionally checking out googleMaps is alright, it takes a few seconds of my time.

20MB???

I'm sure you can run it.

Edit: By the way, the moon is going to be added soon. It'll feature a proper orbit, phases, and events such as an eclipse which would also display an overlay on Earth where the viewing spots (shadows) should fall.
