Google Earth Free

Post by dzjepp »

http://earth.google.com/earth.html

This is what came out of the purchase of Keyhole. Almost as functional as Keyhole, and it's free! They have a plus version that adds gps functionality among other small things, but the free version is very nice.

BTW, post some nice places of interest that you know of so we can look at them. :)

It also lets you do travel searches, 'from-to locations' and find a shit load of other stuff like schools, eateries, banks, bars, malls, coffehouses, stadiums, golf, etc. fucking nice :)

And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.

isn't this using the same data as Nasa's Worldwind? I do like the interface of Google Earth better though.
