Loved Neverwinter Nights. Loved Knights of the Old Republic. Bioware makes good shit, so I thought I'd give Jade Empire a shot. There has got to be some people here that have played this, so I'll take any tips I can get (open or closed fist, ect.)
It's not bad, but I grew a bit tired of it after 2 weeks. There is a LOT of conversation to read and listen to. But some fun mini-games. Make sure you learn how to pull of the harmonic combos. The instructions don't do shit to explain them.
It is quite short. It's good fun, but the endgame part takes about 5 hours, and you eventually get to that Unreal "is it over yet?" sort of state of mind.
It's a good game and all, but if you played other Bio games, it's starting to feel a little like the same ole recipe. If you haven't played the older ones then this will be a great game for most.
I am still only about 20 mins into KOTOR2, I must play it again. The first level is so utterly dull though and coupled with the dreadful animation of the main character, I turned it off and haven't played it since.
Have you guys gone Open or Closed Fist? I've been heading toward Closed. I think it's just more fun that way. Plus I seem to have quite a bit of silver. Are there any benefits to the Open?
