Jade Empire
Jade Empire
So, I'm about 9 hours into it as of now.
It must have taken a LONG time to write all of these conversations and deal with the different conversation paths that there are.
I do like the inclusion of the old school top down shooter minigames with the flyer...nice way to mix gameplay styles up.
Just wish the graphics were better...
Anyone here finish this game? If so, I'd like to talk about some of the different styles and whether it is better to load up your skill in a couple or be more rounded...

It has a lot of things in common with KOTOR in terms of conversations and the way you can choose things like intimidate, persuade, etc..during conversations. Your character's appearance, AFAIK, doesn't change based on your decisions, but they do move towards the light side (open palm) or dark side (closed fist) based on them.dzjepp wrote:I thought the gfx where one of the games strenghts hmmm...
Haven't played it yet, does it really compare to playing KOTOR or any other rpg, what game do you feel it resembles the most?
The graphics aren't horrible by any means, but I see a lot of missed opportunity. Essentially, I wish they could have been comparable to a game like the new splinter cell.

Not yet, but considering it's from the guys that made kotor (which eventually made it's way to the pc) there is a good chance it will make it on the pc. If there is some sort of announcment about it sometime soon I will probably wait out and play it for the pc.phantasmagoria wrote:There isn't a PC version, is there?

im not sure, Jade Empire was released as a first party game, by microsoft. Not lucas Arts who released KOTOR, however, saying that Fable is making its way to PC, so we shall see.dzjepp wrote:Not yet, but considering it's from the guys that made kotor (which eventually made it's way to the pc) there is a good chance it will make it on the pc.
