I can't believe it FPS are already 360°, you want use a kind of reality with your head and yours arms => go to play paintball mega ultra full HD resolution, perfect realtime moves, perfect textures and friendship with real beers
Yeah, I picked up a Rift recently, and me and my co-op buddies over at TTLG decided to give some of the multiplayer activities in Rec Room a shot. While teleport movement was fine for disc golf, it was quite sucky for the D&D-style dungeon crawl mode.
It worked slightly better for the futuristic version, which was more a cover shooter kind of thing. But even there, it felt weirdly restrictive.
I can see that the D&D one has massive potential for co-op VR, but they really need to offer multiple movement methods. I wonder if exaggerated movement would work, similar to the way TrackIR works. Take a tiny step in real life, take a large one in VR.
