Re: Fallout: New Vegas
My biggest annoyance with the game is that anytime you go to a casino or anyplace that strips you of your weapons then when you get them back all the hotkeys (for Xbox 360 at least) are gone and you have to redo them all.

Re: Jackass IT: Stunts, idiocy, and hero hacks
The story about routing the city network via a laptop is insane, all pretty good and humorous.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
What I do love about New Vegas is how there are more options in missions and they aren't either completely evil or angelic. The bugs and glitches haven't hit me too hard, but its enough to be an annoyance. I think I prefer Fallout 3 for style differences. Both have good, quirky humorous bits to the...

Re: Bad Motherboard?
Well I said fuck it and got an Asus P5N-D, got an nVIDIA nForce 750 chipset. I also decided to get an OCZ Vertex 2 120 GB SSD while I was at newegg, thing is so incredibly fast. After exams I will install the motherboard and upgrade to Windows 7, I was going to upgrade to 7 over summer but I couldn...

Re: Motherboard?
I had a similar thing happen on a new computer when the P4 connector (or whatever they are calling that 4-6 prong auxiliary CPU connector now) wasn't plugged in. Most likely isn't the problem, but thats super easy to check.

Re: Bad Motherboard?
It has given me an error message before, it has that POST LED on it, I can't recall the exact error but it was a RAM error. How I discovered that the RAM being moved solved it was when I saw the error i wiggled the RAM a tiny bit and POST moved on and booted fully.

Bad Motherboard?
Well I have been having an odd problem off and on with my PC for a while. I have an aBit IP35 Pro with a Core 2 Quad and it gets moved around a bit between college and home and I have had to replace the RAM because it wouldn't boot and memtest gave me errors so I got new RAM. That was a year or so ...

Re: Paranoia and Gullibility
Ok I realize that nothing is going to happen from it, I just get rattled easily. So who else had fallen for the imagefap troll? Either by being gullible or clicking a link to it

Paranoia and Gullibility
So I was Stumbling as per usual and came across this. http://your-free-pictures.net/Best-of-Verticals.html (its clean don't worry), but one of the funnies was "I typed lolitas into imagefap" and being curious I was like ok what does that do so I did it. And it said thats a banned word and...

Re: Hey Q3W
Yup still in college, a bit more than half way to my computer engineering degree. Last thing I recall posting was about my car, which is still going good.
Since then I have turned 21, been trying many beers and liquors, overall very fun. Also bought a shotgun.

Re: SD card speeds
Well we, my mother and I, were at Best Buy today and the camera was the same price as Newegg so we just went ahead and picked it up. Got a PNY 4GB SDHC Class 4 with it, which was only $10 so hopefully it will do pretty well.

SD card speeds
So looking to get my sister a camera for Christmas, a Canon SD1200 IS to be exact, and am curious about what sort of memory card to get her for it. On one hand this Kingston 4 GB SDHC looks nice, 4 GB certainly is a lot and would most likely exceed her needs as she is fairly quick about getting pho...

Re: AMD get $1.25 billion..
I did look at that, just wondering if anyone had a definition in their own words. So does that mean AMD is just designing chips now and not marketing them or what exactly. How does this change things for the consumer is what I am asking.

Re: Firefox 3 Performance
I did some googling and most complaints are with XP, people with Vista and 7 have no issues. Anyone else with XP notice this besides me and Foo?

Firefox 3 Performance
Has anyone else noticed Firefox 3 performing much slower than FF 1 or 2 in Windows XP? Just wondering if its me or if FF3 is more bloated or slower than previous versions. What do you guys think?

Re: Another new car thread
Yea the transmission is sweet. The reverse is nicely placed, and yea you push it down and slide it into gear. I love the handling and the power. Fast sedans are my thing, I love the balance of fun and practicality. I would have looked at an Audi, AWD would have been a bonus. I was actually original...
