Is there a good ase-importer for max btw?
Gtkr takes a crash overhere, when loading large poly ase's. Only when loading, once loaded there is no problem
Showing no shaderimage, only wireframes for entities helps

i always wondered, how large can an ase file be to cause gtk crashing...?
or is it depending on your pc specifications?

i don't think it'll work with shaders either...
i guess u can mix shaders only visually, not fysical

i thought there might be a way if U could attach things to an alphachannel instead of the whole targa

but it porb isn't possible

i was wondering...
imagine a b&w striped moving shader,
the black ones are invisible.
is it possible to make the black parts possible to walk through,
and the white ones impossible?

i got 3D max to export an ase-format, adding shaders to the model. i got the problem I am still running through the model. i thought playerclip would solve the problem, but no way... this probab is a stupid question, but i can't seem to find the solution... here is the shader textures/pfolio/geron2 ...

ok, the md3 stuff works, but the ase stuff doesn't..., no shader
i'm doing exactly the same steps... exporting an md3 and an ase at the end.
Is this because of that q3map2 stuff, feeling such a newb... :p

what is this q3map2 thing,
the article^ said i didn't need it when using GTKradiant. is this right?
i tried the .ase thing, no more red black checkers are shown, it some kind of brown texture, not the texture/pic i wanted

also the model dissapears when not active (in gtk)
