Seen that documentary about Tetris on BBC last night?

Post by Eraser »

There was a documentary on BBC1 or BBC2 last night about Tetris and the drama around the licensing rights of the game, how Atari fucked themselves by not properly securing the rights and having Nintendo snatch them away in front of their noses, making millions with it's sales and never having to give a penny to the original author of the game. Pretty interesting how that all goes up to political nonsense and threat letters from the representatives of the company from which Atari thought they had bought the license.

This whole fiasco made Atari collapse in on itself pretty much.
