I was thinking about giving it a try, but I'm a little leery about it, especially the "make a list and get them when they're available" aspect of it. Also, how long does it take for them go deliver/receive DVDs? They say "next business day" but make no mention of how long it takes for them to get it back so you can rent another movie.
i used to use Netflix for almost two years. It's a great service. I typically got my dvd's in 3 business days, so i imagine it depends on your geographical position on this planet. they had the best selection of movies and a much larger selection of more diverse genres.
Netflix is awesome. No more going to the video store or late fees. Sometimes, I get the movie the next day. For example, I put it at the top of my que at 7a.m., it ships that day after noon, and I get it the next day. Mostly, it takes a couple of days, though. You have to gauge your returns to time them well if you're looking to get a popular new release. When a release date is noted with the movie, it means the day before actually (it's a time zone thing or something). I'm a total convert to Netflix. Screw Blockbuster and Hollywood video! The reason Netflix works is because they get the movies to you on time and lost returns are no hassle at all. Your concerns (natural, common sense doubts) were addressed in the creation of that company, I believe. They ship from the nearest distribution center and the returns go to the nearest site also, so everything is very fast.
They have a pretty decent selection, better then block busters. If your seriously into a jonra you'll probable notice that their collection isn't complete. While it is true that it takes a day to send the dvds, it usually takes a day to process, and public mail doesn't work on the weekends. So it's basically ones a week. or 5 days round trip.
If your on one dvd at a time that's works out to be 2.5 a rental. If your at two at a time with a limit of four per month that's 1.5 a rental, 2 a month with out the limit is 1.875 a movie. 3 at a time 1.5 per move. Assuming you watch the movie right away, and get it back out the next day. Other wise your basically giving up another rental, and then your paying double.
I like netflix, but I hear there are other services that offer wider verity of rentals. (adult dvd, video games, old movies, complete collections)

I dont know which one came first, but intelliflix looks like a netflix rip off. If you click on "About Us" on the intelliflix website they say 2005 is the "year of the cutomer." Every year should be year of the goddamn customer

Any testimonials?
Got a friend that uses it..
On average, he can to 4 or 5 shipments a month, at 3 or w/e dvds per shipment.. theres months he gets 6 in or so, but he just rips them and ships them back the next day..
if your "smart" about it, you can get 6 a month every month if you dont fuck off on waiting to get disks copied
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.
