Quake 2 test owned. Sprite explosions, better hud etc etc...

The movement is kinda odd, explosions look much better then the modeled ones and the enemy flies to the side if something explodes or you shoot it. Model animation is a bit jerky at times, hud looks better imo.

No. There wasn't any DM maps with VQ2 when it shipped, why would there be any in a test :p

Nope there is no multiplayer support, only 3 maps demo1, demo2, demo3. I'm looking at the pak files for quake2 and q2test comparing changes. I notice the faces in q2test are more detailed for some reason, however quake2 has more wires and such in the models, but only slight differences.
