the beginning where you have a flashlight is just a prelude to the actual game :)

btw for those that don't know, the TAB key is useful as it outlines, in yellow, areas where you can click

so i opened the box thing in the painting room, read the note, then was like, "now wtf do i do?" looked around. then looked at the hint thing and it said you beat the game once you open the box in the painting room. all that work for no real ending...

I didn't finish it - only started it last night. I also heard something about there being sequels.

btw for a really good game, download "the white chamber"

Hey Julios, go buy 'the black mirror', I think you'll like it. I just finished it. Very much like broken sword. Also, this site is the leet of leets when it comes to everything adventure. There's some stuff there you might wanna check out.

Point and click games can be awesome at times. I remember playing through Blade Runner. Its preety damn cool.

Unfortunatelly, I hate the stupid ass Myst-style: "insert disc 1, insert disc 2, insert disc 1, insert disc 4."

I love point 'n click more than any game type. I bought half life 2 and the black mirror last week, finished the black mirror, then went out and bought syberia 1 and 2 yesterday, playing that now, and still haven't unwrapped HL2.

Julios, call youself an adventure fan? Shame on you. :) You never heard of broken sword? There's 3 games in the series. You have to play them. Here's a page about the 3rd game.

heh - never called myself an adventure fan - i'm more of a fan of web based point n click games, and only recently so.

When i was a kid i played through a bunch of sierra games and loved em though :)

Reason I'm into web based games right now is that my puter's kinda slow and my hd only has a few hundred megs free - no burner n stuff.

yea i checked out the broken sword link - the graphics looked shitty in the gallery there - but google images turns up some better quality samples.
