isnt bush supposed to be pulling out iraq by mid-2006 ? or is that wrong ? just remember reading it somewhere

if so, why would he be getting choppers with the reason that they are needed in iraq but wont be ready for 20 months ?

No, his stance is still "Stay the course." He's a little hazy on what the course is, but that's semantics.

A lot of others are talking about pulling out though, so he may be forced to eventually.
