Nice. Quake 4 SE DVD contents revealed

Post by o'dium »

Here you go:

QUAKE 4
QUAKE II PC
QUAKE II: Reckoning PC (Expansion Pack)
QUAKE II: Ground Zero PC (Expansion Pack)
The Making of QUAKE 4: Behind the Scenes
Interviews with id Software and Raven Software
Concept and Production Art Gallery
Quake 4 T-Shirt

And for those wanting to know what comes with the standard crappy "I cant afford a $5 DVD ROM" version:

Quake 4
Quake 4 T-shirt

Fantastic. I always wanted a copy of the Quake 2 addons and this looks like the perfect way to finally get them.

QUAKE II: Reckoning PC (Expansion Pack)
QUAKE II: Ground Zero PC (Expansion Pack)

That's good news as all the shops here always told me they were no longer available.

Are they worth buying the SE DVD?

For an extra few quid, YES. If you haven't got them (They are next to impossible to get these days), you NEED them as they were great. Ground Zero was far better than VQ2 any day.

top tip: instead of blowing extra cash on a quake4 t-shirt, just get a white one and write 'i'm a massive nerd with no sex life' on it in magic marker. the effect will be much the same

I don't see how. No one will know what it is unless they can recognise the quake logo. It's not like it has 'lolol this is a computer game shirt' on it, fuck it doesnt even say 'quake 4' on it. It's just a logo on a dirty green shirt. It's no different to any shirt you can buy in a store.

Want a HL2 one? :icon32:
Got 7 or so of those.. :icon27:
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

when you wear one you're most likely the only one worrying about it :p

the timesplitters2 shirt is pretty cool IMO. looks like a band-on-tour t-shirt, with all the dates on the back. fun
