I broke my mouse

Post by tnf »

So my logitech decided to start tweaking out during my downswing on Tiger Woods golf. After plunking about 8 in a row into the water and out of bounds, I had finally decided to end our relationship.

Anyone ever broken a mouse/controller?

I have a graveyard of PS2/Xbox/Nintendo controllers...heh.

I don't get really violent when games frustrate me. I've bashed my keyboard once or twice, but nowhere near enough to break it.

I've WANTED to put my fist through my monitor on several occasions, but its price tag stopped me. :)

Threw my monitor through a wall once.. :)
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I don't break things when I'm angry... I just don't understand what's the point of releasing your rage on to an innocent object.

Good evening Sir
You are still lucky...
At first glance I read ...broken a house.
I am a beyond too pacific may be dumb at that...
I have a lot lot lot lot lot lot of patience energy.
I don't recall I ever broke anything because of anything.
When things like that occur I sit down take a beer and if it is not going away I just drink a few beers more and try it again the next day. I am just like that.
Man I am a moron.

sys0p made a post a long time ago about something like this (different scenario, but the discussion was on getting pissed off at losing or something) - and explained it better than I could - but it has to do with being very competitive with yourself and not being able to stand it when you don't meet your own expectations. But that tends to be more descriptive of my attitude with sports, etc. In this case, the mouse was continually fucking up my game - so it was far from innocent...it wasn't working. Fucking thing deserved it.

I used to get really bad when I was young. Sometimes I get pissed now but I just let out a lot of curse words and then call up a friend who has also played the game.

I've broken a couple of keyboards, and a couple of mice, but that was back in the ball mouse days - some shit getting stuck on the ball in the middle of a Q3 game or something. Since I went optical my mice have been able to live without fear.

Broke a pair of headphones in a losing Q3 snit once. Instantly realized how fucking dumb it was and the worst I've done since is "reboot" my PC when BF2 locked up once too many.
