Is that for real? I would actually look into considering him as a candidate, based soley on much I love his acting/dancing/improv skills. :icon25: If I didn't like his stances on this issues I wouldn't vote for him, of course, but I would definitely research him if he were serious. :icon14:

Well it's a .com site, not a .gov site, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt. When it's on MSN/Yahoo!/CNN's news, then I'll believe it fully.

Well i think this predential race coming up will be much better. I see a lot of people coming up and talking about running that are solid. I cant remember the dudes name, but he was ont he daily show last week, i have always been impressed with him. He was talking about running with that war hero dude, who is like bald and stuff, he is like real honest and stands against the republicains ( which he is part of ) when he feels they are wrong.

Man i guess i suck with names heh

Your not a digg purist are you? I mean i know at its core its a tech site, believe me i scan it daily, but its really what the community makes it. Its not slash dot after all.

Besides, where better to debunk it right ?

I just did a search on news.google.com for 'christopher walken for president' and it returned nothing.

I suppose this would be a bit odd, since you'd expect them to have made an official announcement to the media. It's not like he's a nobody.

Hoax or not, why would a private citizen's campaign warrant a .gov?

Think of it this way... A candidate using a .gov domain to advertise their campaign would be tantamount to government endorsement

Yea, that's a pretty big lack of understanding in the whole .gov thing, as well as presidential elections and campaigns in general there pal...

I only got interested in politics about a year and a half ago, so I'm pretty ignorant to how things work. And as far as internet knowledge, I know what I need to know to get by.

No need to rip me a new one. :(
