its actually not that big of an engine, ( well atleast in the older CAr Standards )Don Carlos wrote:Its a massive engine Duhy
So that engine, lightened and uprated
A turbo the size of a small nation and boom. Winner
Here is a snippit form damerchryslers Website
"500 horsepower from a 8.3-litre (505 cubic inch) Viper V10 engine for unmatched acceleration and awesome all-around performance"
thats base, and without a R/T Package..

im sorry man, but looking back, for a Old Hemi doing 7.6L's between 8 Cylenders, or the older V12 Jag's and etc.. i dont consider that to be a big engine,Don Carlos wrote:8.3 litre is MASSIVE mate
1400bhp u can get outta a 2.6 skyline?

Hmm im a lil rusty on my conversion, but i fi remember right, the number 5.0 7.6 8.0 doesnt have anything to do with over all cylinder size, its the individual. Forgive me, its been a lot of joints and many years, but i think the conversion is like 60x(x.xL) = size of each piston cylinder.
Either way, a 500 cubic foot engine is massive. The old muscle cars your talking about are 302-454 ish, yea i know i went from ford to chevy, but thats the basic range. This engine is bigger then any other muscle car engine from that era save the cadilac eldorado whihc was pushing 502 i thin, but it was a front wheel drive caddy.
Btw, for the record, a 502 caddy engine does well in a chevy luv when you mount it on the bed. My cousin did this and needless to say, it did wheelies.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.
