True evil never dies, hey Valve/EA?
True evil never dies, hey Valve/EA?
I will only quote this. Thats all I really have to say:
"Electronic Arts Inc, the world's leading interactive entertainment company and Valve, the award-winning studio behind the blockbuster franchises Half-Life and Counter-Strike, today announced that the two companies have entered a multi-year agreement to deliver a collection of Valve games to players worldwide. The first two games to be released under this agreement are Half-Life 2: Game of the Year and Counter-Strike: Source for PC, both launching this fall. In addition, Half-Life 2 for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, currently in development at Valve and targeted for release in October, will be published and distributed worldwide by EA."

No, they call their own game "game of the year", then slap a million of "GotY" stickers on it, include a bunch of "unreleased" maps which can be downloaded from a gazillion gaming websites as well and sell it for an additional 15 bucks over the normal edition.seremtan wrote:an add-on i don't know about?o'dium wrote:Half-Life 2: Game of the Year

Xbox Versions..dzjepp wrote:First they drop vivendi from pressing new brick & mortar copies. Then they go all out by themselves to sell HL2 via steam. EA must have seriously invested a ton of money in this seeing as Valve must of thought this would bring them more $$$ than solely selling via steam (w/ no middleman)...
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

This is true, they have the knack of taking a great game title and fucking it up somehow. I think their Sweatshop programming department has way too much to do so they produce shit. Or EA says "Fuck Tesing!! Just get this crap out so we can make some money."Grudge wrote:EA is becoming a true monstrosity.
