I'm just rating it based on the enjoyment I got from playing the game at that time. I must say that FF1 had me hooked for hours on end.

Hmmm... now that I think about it, I never played many rpgs aside from Final Fantasy.

That said, I'll say FFVI (FFIII for us non-japanese) because it continues to be my favorite.

I really kinda like Fantasy Star 2 as well but it wasn't near as good as Final Fantasy.

Zelda would also be up there on my list. Same as Dragon Warrior, wish they had an online flash version of that or something that'd rock. Actualy anyone know of any online flash rpg games?
