Quite nice. I just might pick one up as dragging CDs into and out of the car a few times a day is a pain in the ass that I could do without.

Looks pretty nifty, I'm still thinking about getting one of the short wave broadcasting thingies so I can play my iPod through my car radio.

ok someone explain to me what exactly an ipod shuffle is.
From what i remember, the amazing thing about it is that it plays your song in random order.
BUT ANY IPOD CAN DO THAT IF YOU SET IT TO RANDOM/SHUFFLE
WTF

I just don't fucking get it. What is so good about it? Why would I opt for an ipod shuffle over another ipod?
coz it's cheaper?
but why is it cheaper? coz it stores less?
why not get an ipod mini?
IM FUCKING CONFUSED AND NONE OF YOU ARE HELPING

It's a lot cheaper, that's about it. You're not missing anything.

You shouldn't be asking these kind of questions, let the commercials decide for you

Oh right, I thought you knew that the capacity was a lot less, I didn't think you were actually asking a question.
Yeah, it stores a hell of a lot less (isn't it a Gig or something?) and there's no display, that's why it's cheaper.

There is a normal mode, where it plays in the order you told it to in iTunes on its last sync.

The good thing about it, besides being cheaper, is that it has solid-state storage, like RAM. There is no hard-drive, so it can't skip from bounces and jars when you're exercising. Plus it's smaller so it's more portable than a full iPod.

lol, I use my iPod in shuffle mode all the time. I chose a playlist and I just let it play randomly.

I'm buying an itrip which plugs into my mini ipod, and transmits off my car radio. I've never quite understood the shuffle. Wouldn't you want the ability to run songs and albums in the order you like? I assume it's called the shuffle because it's always random?
