More parts have fell off shuttle

Post by Canidae »

I'll bet this mission launch is going to be scrubbed.

When is that replacement vehicle going to be ready??

Yea, a window cover fell off and hit one of the tiles on one of the engines...bad because its one of the hottest parts of the orbiter.
poor NASA...they've got to be going nuts.

I'm all for space travel, my uncle works for nasa, etc, etc, but these orbiters really are elaborate piles of crap.

Man, there is so much cool stuff in progress that NASA can't afford another blunder. :tear:

Sometimes I wish I hadn't been born during this time period. It feels like I'm going to miss out on so much awesome shit after I die. I'll probably see affordable civillian space travel in my life time but nothing on the scale of any decent SciFi flick. No teleportation or warp drives...All the really cool theories are finally being researched and we are so close to solving most of the riddles but yet so far away.

No. I'm just a bit worried, not about a shuttle crash, but about the near future of human space flight.
