Yes and no. I WANT it to be good, but know it wont. Im kinda hoping to be surprised by it, but at the same time i know i wont wont be... Eh...

It just shocks me that id would let a film that is nothing like doom, be called doom, just for extra sales. I mean everything about doom is gone, even the location doesn't look anything like doom's.

Doom (3) didn't have an amazing plot, or anything like that, but it had the potential to be adapted into an amazing film, ya' know. Something dark. But unfortunatly, dark means a high rating, and a higer rating means less people seeing it, and that means less sales...

But no matter what the rating, would it of killed them to give the marines the same kick ass armor that doomy has?

I thought they said the movie would have an 16+ rating anyway (or whatever that rating is called in the US)?

Its aiming for a... dunno what you call it, its a 12 over here. Thats what i read some place anyways. If its a 15 thats not so bad, you can get away with a lot of shit these days. But nothing less than an 18 is needed because the game was 18, and a i loved the amount of blood and gore at times.

The Rock: I'm so excited about that movie, I'll tell you why. Number one, it's my first rated-R movie and it's a very unapologetic rated-R movie. Not only that, but the monsters are real, they're not CGI. They're made by Stan Winston who did Jurassic Park and Predator and all that.
