yeah, no tagging, no wall infinites, and they nixed any elevation changes. VF(Evo) and the DOA series did elevation well, but it just didn't suit Tekken 4 for some reason.

the crouch is back to straight down on the pad, as opposed to diag/down like the last game (and possibly Tag, i cannot recall).

this game is the fastest yet, without being overly so. the levels and character models are insanely done. you'll be playing this for a long time coming.

Playing it most of today, its not bad. Very easy for some reason, even on hardest...

The fact they added so many classic arcade games is worth the price tag alone. Its fantastic. Oh, and they include tekken, tekken 2 and tekken 3 arcade versions for free, and they all play great. Tekken 3 is still just as cool as it was all those years ago.

It has changed quite ab it from the last 2, thank god. Its a good game... At last. :icon14:

not bad? if you're basing that on the AI, then who cares? any fighting game is meant to be played with human counterparts, not against itself.

and yes, the included classics are spot on. the same day i got it after a couple of hours of T5 play, my buddy and i thought it would be "funnY' to play Tekken1 again. funny my *ss....we were on that for almost two hours. f00kin' A.

i also like the DOA series, VF, and a smathering of 2d's, so i'm not a complete fanboi.

oh really?

while tekken isnt a bad game by any means, i really dislike it when it gets more attention than IMO far superior fighting games like SF3: Third Strike, SF2 (ST), MvC2, CvS2, Guilty Gear, KOF2k2, Garou: Mark of the Wolves etc. I mean if you really looked into those games and Tekken and like Tekken more, thats fine but when people blow off those fine games as ignorantly as DC does, its just sad.

OMG 3D GRAPHICS!!!!!!

Regardless, i have a video of this year's SBO final (for Tekken). The US National Champion lost in the first round IIRC. Korea just beasted on everyone though. I'm downloading something at the moment, but I dont mind uploading it later today for you guys to see. Could I just do it via yousendit.com?

I have played SF2 for years, and i always prefered MK
I have played MK and other verions for years, and i prefer Tekken
I have played various other beat em ups and i prefer Tekken to
all of them, that i have played. We dont live in the US or Japan so
dont get all those cool odd fighting games u do. So Tekken is about
as good as it gets here really.
