What are people reading, or planning on reading, right now?

I'm going through "The Fabric of the Cosmos" right now.

If you like fast paced books, read Lee Child's stuff (the Jack Reacher novels).

This book is so badass on so many levels, everyone should have a copy.

After that I plan on getting my Batman Year One first prints out of storage and re-reading since the movie was so amazingly good and faithful to the true fans.

I do find myself about to write a fiction though, been concocting the outline in my head now for several months.
I'm pretty sure I have that book kicking around somewhere.

Right now I'm without anything interesting to read, but I'm going to try picking up "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova.
Otherwise, I dunno... Don Quixote, maybe?

Seriously, look into the Lee Child books.
They are making them into movies, so that means they MUST BE GOOD.

"Advanced PHP Programming" by George Schlossnagle. It's an adventure book, splendidly written in true victorianian style complete with rich and colorful language and dialogues. Check it out!

I think I've heard of them before. Are they detective stories?

I recently finished "Skinny Dip" by Carl Hiaasen. Not his best book, but his ability to create wacked-out, unique characters never ceases to amaze me. I'm planning on tackling Steven Wolfram's "A New Kind of Science" shortly, and I've decided that I need to read "Fight Club" as well.

Oddly enough, doesn't he oppose a more fundamental combination of man and machine? I ask because I don't recall with certainty.

Currently reading a book on Scotch but just ordered the SAS Guide. Thanks for reminding me riddla, I've been meaning to pick that one up for years.

I just finished The DaVinci Code. I thought it was OK but I am amazed at how hyped it is. It isn't anything special, and I don't think there's even much there for a film.

Theo van Gogh - Sla ik mijn vrouw wel hard genoeg?

By that guy that got killed, it's a like a selection of his columns.
