All electric works, engine is well maintanced, no funny sounds from engine or when turning the wheels, no leakage, very little rust, sun roof, route computer and 140 hp.
I need a cd stereo though.

I belive that 1,051 US dollars is a damn good deal. :icon31:

Your value is dependent of macroeconomics. You think it's a good deal because it was cheap to you. I could find that car for $600 in Indiana or Ohio.

The bottom line is, it's a good deal to you and that's all that matters.

The interior looks pretty crisp, as most VWs from this era are. The fabric in VWs was flawless from the start all the way up until around 1994.

I'm not including the mexican built classic beetles, which had the old style fabric. R.I.P.

if you or someone you know is halfway handy with fiberglass and a little bondo experience, you can make a killer door panel.

OR...get new stock door panels, and mount the drivers in the best location for maximum path length and better soundstage - at the kickpanels.

Dont know if the sport seats are just stock on GTI models or on all golf's?
I do know that GTI has stock: Harder suspension, chassi is lowered, bigger air filter, sport seats and router computer.

well, you've already got the speakers, so fiberglassing and such would be free if you have a friend that can do it. are those coaxial speakers or do you have tweeters located some place?
